After the decision to relocate in the
beautiful, quintessential town of Darby, Montana, at the
Southern tip of the picturesque Bitterroot Valley, I founded
Canyon Springs Log Homes, Inc. It had been my dream of 40
years to build and live in a log home or cabin. However,
when the time came I found, not only could I not afford the
prices being quoted but also most of the log home companies
had no desire to realistically price my small cabin. Because
of the necessity to fulfill my dream we developed the vision
to provide small homes/cabins at affordable and realistic
prices and to become the most environmentally sensitive log
home company in the industry. We focus on using only small
diameter, dead standing timber which assist in the
preservation and survival of old growth forest. Our
philosophy also contributes to the reduction of fire fuels
creating a safer environment within the forest/community
interface. Slash and other bi-products of the harvest can be
donated to non-profit community organizations that implement
such new technologies as bio-mass heating systems. Using the
natural waste of the forest is the chance to re-cycle one of
nature’s most beautiful assets. Today we remain committed to
the idea that a dream can be realized and that we are
determined to make our customers dreams come true. Our

Canyon Springs Log Homes, Inc. offers cabins in many sizes and styles, ranging
from the Wilderness Efficiency Model, 252sq. ft. to the Bitterroot Model, 2700
sq. ft. Prices begin at $6,500.00(log shell), FOB, Darby, Montana 59829 and
will fluctuate depending on the customer’s desires, cabin size, log supply and
demand. The customer may also choose from one of our standard models or submit
a sketch/plan of their own. We want you the customer to be happy and have no
surprises. We will give you an estimate, list all items included, set your
delivery time and give you the time to compare and make your decision. You, the
customer are our best representative. We will also assist you in preparation of
estimates for your financial institution. There is much more to building then
just the logs. My cabin is my home and I am now living my dream of 40 years. I
know the anxiety and apprehension of taking that first step and breaking loose.

Cabins $3,500 to $11,000
Enjoy the outdoors in your own log cabin. Purchase these
packages ready for shipping, already assembled and ready for
you to load and transport. Or buy just the logs. These
cabins can usually be erected in a couple of weekends with
friends. There are several ways but none more affordable then
what we have today. Use the cabin as a guest room, an extra
storage building, a sauna, library, playhouse or any thing
you can imagine. The beauty of logs has never been more
affordable! Pick the size you need and want and ask us about
the easy pricing. Sizes vary but generally are 10' x 12' up
